23rdstreetmedia Cinematic personal branding — Washington, D.C.

Personal brand video

Make your online presence match the caliber of your work.

You have the experience, ideas, and results. We create the films, interviews, and photography that help people see it.

Three founding-client sessions available.

For coaches, consultants, speakers, authors, and expert-led founders across D.C., Northern Virginia, and Maryland.

You’re an accomplished professional. Your online presence should reflect it.

Video makes you real and relatable. But do you know where to start?

Meet your videographer

Meet the filmmaker who will bring your expertise to life.

I’m Brendan McDonough, a Washington, D.C.–area videographer and the owner of 23rdstreetmedia.

I have produced video for the Embassy of Sweden, news organizations, technology and artificial-intelligence companies, wellness professionals and influencers, and elected officials — including members of Congress.

I specialize in professional interviews, multicamera conversations, and documentary-style storytelling. I personally guide each client from the initial conversation and interview preparation through filming and the final edit.

You do not need to write a script, perform for the camera, or understand video production. We’ll develop the questions and talking points together so you can concentrate on explaining what you know and how you help people.

I film with Sony Cinema Line cameras, professional lighting, and broadcast-quality audio equipment so your video looks and sounds as credible as the expertise behind it.

Your expertise is the subject. My job is to make it visible.

The starter package

The Personal Brand Video Starter

A simple, lower-risk way to begin using professional video.

01

Complete the Questionnaire

Tell me about your business, your audience, your goals, and the story you want to communicate.

02

Schedule a Conversation

We’ll meet by Zoom or phone to discuss your business, determine whether the project is a good fit, and consider possible filming locations.

03

Develop Your Talking Points

Together, we’ll establish the interview questions and the key ideas you want potential clients to understand.

04

Film Your Interview

I’ll bring professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to your approved office, home, studio, or another private filming location.

05

Review Your Interview

You’ll receive a private, timecoded review version of the interview. I’ll identify several strong moments, and you can tell me which sections you would most like developed.

06

Receive Your Finished Videos

I’ll transform two selected moments into professionally edited 15–60 second videos for your website, LinkedIn, Instagram, or YouTube.

07

Decide What Comes Next

If the first project is successful, we can discuss additional content, including a complete brand film, client testimonials, a podcast, conference coverage, an online course, or ongoing social-media videos.

Your starter package includes two finished videos. Additional interview moments can be developed into short clips or longer videos for an additional fee.

Personal Brand Video Starter

$475 $1,175Standard value
Founding-client price

Available to my first three personal-brand clients as I launch this specialized service.

We’ll record an interview designed to introduce you, your work, and the value you provide. You leave with polished content for your website, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

What you receive

  • Personalized feedback on how video could strengthen your website and social-media presence
  • A professionally planned and filmed video session
  • Two professionally edited 15–60 second videos, delivered in either vertical or landscape format
  • The option to select your preferred excerpts or have me identify the strongest moments

If the session produces additional strong material, I may include additional content when the footage and scope allow.

If you discover additional moments you want to use, you can purchase more short clips or a longer video after the shoot. Start small and expand only if you see content worth using.

Video consultation questionnaire

Your work has substance. Give it the presence it deserves.

Help me understand your business, audience, and goals so I can recommend the strongest direction for your video session. Your answers do not need to be lengthy or polished — brief, conversational responses are completely fine.

Your business and audience

The foundation for every question I'll ask on camera.

A sentence or two is plenty.
Please tell me a little about who you're trying to reach.
3. How do your current clients usually discover you?
How you want to come across

This shapes the lighting, the location, and the way I direct you.

Names or links are both fine — whatever's easiest.

Location and material

What we have to work with visually on the day.

7. Do you have supporting material that could help us build a visual story?
Other people on camera

Optional, but a second voice often makes the strongest material.

8. Do you have a client, colleague, or collaborator in the area who might be willing to appear in a testimonial?
9. Would you be interested in filming a podcast-style or two-person conversation with a client, colleague, or industry expert?
The session itself

How we'll know it worked, and how to make you comfortable.

This one really helps me — even a rough answer.
11. Which format would make you feel most comfortable?

Your answers are used only to prepare for your session.
